About
Pigments
Pigments are insoluble organic or inorganic particles that appears a certain colour based on the selective absorption of certain wavelengths of light.
Pigments are added to specific polymers to give colour and/or enhance the quality of finished plastic articles.
Our pigment blends can be easily dispersed across a wide range of applications including PVC and Polyolefin (PO) Extrusion, Injection Moulding and Roto moulding.
Performance Colour Systems offer a range of pigments including but not limited to:
- Organic and Inorganic Pigment Blends
- Metallic Pigments
- Special Effect Pigments
- Fluorescent Pigments
- Pearlescent Pigments
Our Pigment Blending division caters for a vast range of plastic processing applications.

Masterbatches
Masterbatch is a concentration of pigments or dyes dispersed into a polymer carrier and use to impart colour or performance properties in most plastic applications.
Micro Granules
Micro granules are a specialised colouring technology used to improve colour consistency.
Pigments
A pigment is a dry powder material that is used to impart colour in a variety of applications.
Pastes
Paste is a thick viscous fluid colourant used most often in the PVC and PU industry
Liquids
Liquids are a concentrate of pigment or dyes suspended in a liquid carrier.
Liquid masterbatches are most often used in PET applications.
